Recipe: Basic macaroni casserole

Today I wanted to share one of my favorite every day foods that I enjoy making. I like to make this macaroni casserole I like to make few times a month, and it usually lasts me few days since I make usually amount thats meant for 4-6 people.

This recipe should feed 4 people.


  • 400 grams of minced beef
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 5 dl macaroni
  • 5 dl of milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons of salt
  • 0.5 teaspoons of grounded blackpepper
  • 2 dl of grated cheese


  • Start by frying the minced beef and onions in a frying pan. Cook the macaroni halfway cooked in salted water.
  • Mix the the minced beef, onions and macaroni into a oven pan. Mix the egg texture with a fork, add milk and seasoning. Add milk/egg mixture into the pan so that it covers the macaroni/minced beef mixture. Put grated cheese on top.
  • Cook in 180 celcius (356 Fahrenheit) for a about an hour.
